HomeMy WebLinkAbout78-062CITY OF LAKEVILLE RE S OLi1T I ON Date September 5, 1978 Resolution No. 78-62 Motion by Curry Seconded by Spande RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE CITY OF LAKEVILLE'S APPRECIATION AND GRATITUDE TO THE LAKEVILLE JAYCEE'S AND THEIR CONTRIBUTORS FOR THE ARONSON PARK RESTROOM/SHELTER BUILDING WHEREAS, the City of Lakeville has had a need for a restroom/shelter facility in Aronson Park for several years; and WHEREAS, the Lakeville Jaycee's volunteered to provide a new restroom shelter facility in Aronson Park for the citizen's of Lakeville and their friends; and WHEREAS, the funding for this facility was difficult for the City to provide; and WHEREAS, the Lakeville Jaycee's raised funds and contributions from: Tillges Excavating Freidheim Concrete Northland Concrete Gresser Concrete Balco Building Systems Nick DeGross Plumbing Men's Softball Association Womens Softball Association Jemm Electric Apple Valley Red -E -Mix Johnson Bigler Oscar Robert Co. Savage Ready Mix Northstar Concrete Benson Construction Tillges Realty Zweber Realty Prairie Electric Lakeville Jaycee's Softball Team Todd Chevrolet Softball Team Lakeville State Bank Farmers Union Consolidated Plumbing Realty Center Airlake Industrial Park Christiansen Welding Bernard Murphy Dakota County Park Department WHEREAS, the generosity and dedication of the Jaycees to this pro- ject has saved the citizen's of Lakeville thousands of dollars. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Lakeville wishes to extend, on behalf of the citizens of Lakeville the sincere thanks and appreciation for the new Aronson Park restroom/shelter facility to the Lakeville Jaycees and the business and individuals who assisted and supported this project.
