HomeMy WebLinkAbout78-053CITY OF LAKEVILLE RESOLUTION Date 7 August, 1978 Resolution No. 78-53 Motion by Zaun Seconded by Cur A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTIi THE CITY OF LAKEVILLE'S SANITARY SE14ER CAPACITY REQUIREMENTS FROM THE CRYSTAL LAKE BASIN THROUGH THE BURNSVILLE INTERCEPTOR WHEREAS, the City of Lakeville has undertaken the development of a land use plan in coordination with the Metropolitan Council; and WHEREAS, the City of Lakeville has ordered an updating of the Com- prehensive Sewer Plan; and WHEREAS, the work on the updating of the Comprehensive Sewer Plan has progressed to the point where sewage flow estimates can be made for the Crystal Lake basin. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: 1. The flows projected in previous joint agreements with the City of Burnsville can be reconsidered in view of updated land use planning and experience with sewer usage. 2. A satisfactory land use plan for the Crystal Lake basin can be achieved within sewage flow limitations recently discussed with the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission. 3. This District would be adequately served with a sanitary sewer capacity of 0.84 MGD average flow with an infiltration allow- ance of 0.22 MGD for a total of 1.06 MGD average flow.
