A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 1978 WAGE SCHEDULE FOR CERTAIN
EMPLOYEE POSITIONS OF THE CITY OF LAKEVILLE AND BENEFIT
ADDITIONS AND DELETIONS
WHEREAS, State law provides that the City Council set the compensation
and benefits of employees of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Lakeville, Minnesota that the following wage and benefit terms are authorized
as provided below:
GROUP III, HOURLY EMPLOYEES
Street, Utility and Park Departments
Position
Maintenance II
Maintenance I
Mechanic
$7.39 per hr.
7.03 per hr.
7.03 per hr.
INJURY ON DUTY - Paid leave shall be granted for up to 180 days
as a supplement to Workmen's Compensation insurance benefits to
provide the employee their full regular hourly wage. The employee
must use all available sick leave before injury on duty leave and
must be eligible for and receive Workmen's Compensation wage bene-
fits. In no case shall the Workmen's Compensation wage payment
and injury on duty pay be greater than the employees regular
daily wage. The employee's seniority and vacation benefit shall
accrue during the period the employee is on injury leave. Sick
leave shall not accrue during injury leave.
VACATION SCHEDULE for 1978 shall be as follows:
After 1 year of employment, 10 days
After 2 years of employment, 10 days
After 3 years of employment, 11 days
After 4 years of employment, 12 days
After 5 years of employment, 13 days
After 6 years of employment, 14 days
After 7 years of employment, 15 days
SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL as provided in Resolution 76-4 adopted on
January 5, 1976 is abolished effective January 1, 1978.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Lakeville,
Minnesota on this 5th day of December, 1977.
