HomeMy WebLinkAbout77-27A Date: 2 May, 1977 Motion by Emond I CITY OF LAKEVILLE RESOLUTION Resolution No. 77-27 Seconded by Curry RESOLUTION VACATING CERTAIN STREETS IN THE CITY OF LAKEVILLE WHEREAS, a majority of the abutting property owners have petitioned the City to vacate the following: A. An alley situated in the City of Lakeville, County of Dakota, State of Minnesota, legally described as follows, to wit: That parcel of land situated in Block One (1), Berres Addition, bounded on the North by 207th Street (formerly known as Perkins Street), bounded on the East by Lots Six (6), Seven (7) and Eight (8), bounded on the South by Lots Two (2) and Nine (9), and bounded on the West by Lots Three (3), Four (4) and Five (5), all according to the plat thereof on file and of record within and for said County and State. B. That portion of 207th Street in the City of Lakeville, County of Dakota, Minnesota, legally described as follows, to wit: and Commencing at the Northwest corner of Lot Five (5), Block One (1), Berres Addition thence East along the North line of said Lot a distance of 5.72 feet to the actual point of beginning, thence continuing East along said North line a distance of 116.5 feet; thence North a distance of 1.5 feet; thence West parallel to said North line of said Lot a distance of 116.5 feet, thence South a distance of 1.5 feet to the actual point of beginning. WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the Lakeville City Council on the 2nd day of May, 1977; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is in the best interest of the City and the public to vacate said alley and street. vacated.
