HomeMy WebLinkAbout76-26CITY OF LAKEVILLE DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION 76-26 RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENTS AND PREPARATION OF PLANS FOR LATERAL SEWER AND WATER EXTENSIONS AROUND ORCHARD LAKE. WHEREAS, pursuant to the Resolution of the City Council adopted the 3rd day of NM},,. , 19�, a report has been prepared by the City Engineer with reference to a Resolution ordering improvements and preparation of plans for lateral sewer and water extensions around Orchard Lake; and WHEREAS, a Resolution of the City Council adopted the 15th day of March , 1976 fixed a date for a -Council hearing on the above referred to proposed improvement; and WHEREAS, ten (10) days' published notice through two weekly publications in the Lakeville Times, the official newspaper of the City, and mailed notices to the affected property owners, all in accordance with the law, was given of the public hearing; and WHEREAS, in accordance with the notice of hearing, a public hearing was held on the 12th day of April, 1976 at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard and at which time the decision on whether or not to order the project was tabled until June 7, 1976. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Lakeville, Minnesota: 1. Such improvement is hereby ordered in accordance with the description thereof in the notice of hearing and preliminary report of the Engineer. 2. The City Engineer is directed to prepare plans and specifications for that part of the project from the Chart House to the Orchard Lake Elementary School and along 168th Street to the Sea Girt Inn. 3. The City Engineer is further directed to prepare engineer- ing plans for the balance of the project around the Lake to the extent necessary to provide the City with sufficient information to acquire easements. f 4. The City Attorney is directed to acquire the necessary easements for the entire project. Adopted this 7th day of June, 1976. ATT c Patrick E.
