HomeMy WebLinkAbout76-25Date: 17 May, 1976 *lotion by Mako CITY OF LAKEVILLE DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA Resolution 76-25 Seconded by RESOLUTION VACATING ALLEY Zaun WHEREAS, a majority of the owners of property abutting on that portion of the following described alley, all in the City of Lakeville, Dakota County, Minnesota, have requested the City Council in a petition to vacate such property according to law: AND WHEREAS, a public hearingwas held on the 6th day of May, 1976, after due publication as required by law and all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, AND WHEREAS, it appears that it will be for the best interest of the City to approve such request and that said alley does not serve a public purpose, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that such petition is hereby granted and that part of a City's roads described as follows are hereby vacated: That parcel of land bounded on the South by a line connecting the northerly boundary lines of Lots five and six of Block Thirteen (13), Original Town of Fairfield; bounded on the west by Lot ten (10), Original Town of Fairfield and by Lots One and Two, Berres Addition' bounded on the north by a line connecting the northerly boundary lines of Lots Two and Nine, Berres Addi- tion; and bounded on the east by Lots Nine and Ten, Berres Addi- tion and by Lot eleven, Original Town of Fairfield, all according to the plats thereof on file and of record in the Office of the Register of Deeds of Dakota County, Minnesota. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk send a certified copy of the resolution to the Dakota County Assessor, Auditor and Register of Deeds. ADOPTED this 17th day of May, 1976.
