TEMPORARY LIQUOR LICENSE EXTENSION
TERESA’S MEXICAN RESTAURANT
Proposed Action
Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: Move to extend the licensed premise to
include the sidewalk near the main entrance at Teresa’s Mexican Restaurant during Pan-O-
Prog, July 4-14, 2019.
Overview
The general manager at Teresa’s Mexican Restaurant is requesting a temporary extension of
his licensed premise to include the sidewalk near the main entrance of the restaurant. The
request is for outdoor seating, five to seven tables, during Pan-O-Prog. This is identical to
their request for outdoor seating on Cinco de Mayo.
There will be no tent or live music, and the requested seating will not interfere with vehicle
parking. The Police Department and Community Development Director reviewed the request
and have no objection to the temporary outdoor seating as requested. Because the licensed
premise must be compact and contiguous, a temporary fence or barrier will need to be
installed to delineate the outdoor area where alcohol will be served.
