CITY OF LAKEVILLE
DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 6 OF THE
LAKEVILLE CITY CODE CONCERNING. MOTOR
VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEVILLE ORDAINS:
Section 1. Section 6-1-1-3 of the Lakeville City Code is
amended to read:
Sec. 6-1-1-3. PARKING.
A. No owner of a motor vehicle, trailer, boat, snowmobile,
or seasonal vehicle shall leave, park, or permit the same to
stand on .any City street or alley for. more than forty-eight. (48)
hours.
B. No owner of a motor vehicle, trailer, boat, snowmobile,
or seasonal vehicle shall leave, park, or permit the same. to
stand on a street or alley after a snowfall of such amount which
reasonably requires the plowing and clearing of City streets and
alleys until the street or alley has been plowed.
C. No owner of a motor vehicle designed or used for off-
road racing, off-road use, or demolition derby may park or
repair such motor vehicle in a driveway or other location where
the vehicle. would be in view from adjacent properties or public
ways for more than twelve (12) consecutive hours unless it is
.screened from view with a fence and/or landscaping approved by
the City building official.
D. No owner of a motor vehicle, trailer, boat, snowmobile,
or seasonal vehicle shall leave, park, or permit the same to
black .access to a driveway or block access to a mailbox.
Section 2. Title 6 of the Lakeville City Code is amended by
adding. Section 6-2-10 to read:.
SeC. 6-2-10. EBTERIOR STORAGE OF MOTOR VEHICLES AND THE LIRE.
No owner of a motor vehicle, trailer, boat, snowmobile, or
.seasonal vehicle shall leave,. park,. or penait the same to be
outside an enclosed building for more than thirty (30j days in a
calendar year if:

A. It is inoperable or partially dismantled; or
B. It is not properly licensed for operation. within the
State of Minnesota.
Section 3. This. ordinance shall be effective immediately
.upon its passage and .publication.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LAKEVILLE ORDAINS :

No owner of a motor vehicle, trailer,
boat, snowmobile, or seasonal vehicle shall
leave, park, or permit the same to be
outside an enclosed building for more
than thirty (30) days in a calendar year if:
A. It is inoperable or partially
dismantled; or
B. It is not properly licensed
for operation within the State of
Minnesota.
Section S. This ordinance shall be ef-
fective immediately upon its passage and
publication.

Council this 7th day of October, 1991.
