The master plan images on this board are meant to illustrate general proposed layout showing how the amenities relate to one another and to provide examples
of the types of amenities to consider during implementation. The actual designs for the buildings, playground equipment and other site amenities have not
been determined at this point and would take place during the final design process to ensure the materials, colors and textures fit with the site appropriately.
• Central plaza is approximately 3 feet higher than the playground and splash fountain
• Plaza buildings would frame the view of the lake and illustrate historical images
• Or namental fence, plantings and arbors separate the patio and lower area
• Pavilion and lawn area is located to the north of the plaza
• Plaza buildings frame the view of the fountain and lake
• Fire pit provides year-round use of park
• Fountain sprays provide ornamental interest and interactive play
The images below provide a range of examples of multi-generational play features that could be incorporated
into the adventure / challenge area meant to provide more interest for a broad range of user groups.
