CITY OF LAKEVILLE ORDAINS: Section 1. Section 2.2 of the. Lakeville Zoning Ordinance is amended by amending the following definition: Lot Frontacte. The narrowest lot boundary abutting a public. street that meets minimum lot width. requirements. If none of .the boundaries abutting a public street meet minimum lot width requirements, then the lot frontage is the widest boundary abutting a street. Section 2. Section 2.2 of the Lakeville Zoning Ordinance is amended by adding the following definitions: Lot Line, Front. The lot line separating a lot from the street right-of-way along the lot frontage. Lot Line, Rear. The lot line opposite and most ..distant from the lot frontage which connects the side lot lines. Lot Line, Side. Lot. lines extending away from the lot frontage, which connects the front and rear lot .lines. Lot, Triangular. A lot in which the side lot lines converge into a single vertex. The vertex shall be deemed to be the rear lot line. Vertex. The corner point of a triangle, rectangle, or other geometric figure bounded by lines. Section 3. Section 11.5 of the Lakeville Zoning Ordinance is amended to read: In the case of triangular lots, where the rear lot line is a single vertex, the rear yard setback points of reference shall be determined by measuring the length of the setback distance from the vertex along the side lot lines. The rear setback line shall be determined by traversing ..the lot and .connecting these points of reference. Section 4. Section 2.2 of the Lakeville Zoning Ordinance is amended by amending the following definition: Lot Frontage The narrowest lot boundary abutting a public street that meets minimum lot width requirements.
