RESOLUTION NO. 19-112
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION
TO THE LAKEVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, MN Statute 465.03 requires that cities accept donations for the benefit of its citizens
in accordance with the terms prescribed by the donor; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lakeville's Police Department has received a donation of money from
resident James H. Wilde in the amount of $150.00; and
WHEREAS, the donation is beneficial to the department; and
WHEREAS, the additional revenue received may require the City to incur additional
expenditures in order to comply with grant agreements and restricted donations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakeville,
Minnesota that the donation is hereby officially accepted and acknowledged with gratitude to the
donor; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that City staff is authorized to amend the budget to comply with
grant agreements and restricted donations.
