Subject: Pan-O-Prog Debrief
This summer Pan-O-Prog marked its 53rd year as a community festival in which Lakeville
celebrates the growth and development of the City. Many new special events were added
this year including the VFW sponsored Vietnam Memorial Wall and the dedication of the
Freedom Rock at Aronson Park.
A new Pan-O-Prog board was recently elected in September and Tom Knutson is now the
president. The board president is a two-year term. Tom along with other board members are
planning to attend the meeting and give a brief recap of the 2019 festival and provide an
overview of what is planned for 2020.

*- In 2013, Pan-O-Prog started paying their share of sanitation costs directly to service provider.
** - Police security billed to local businesses. Over the years, this has included Babes, VFW, Lakeville
Lions, Lakeville Brewing, Alibi Drinkery, and B-52 Burgers.
^ - On May 7th, 2012 Pan-O-Prog Committee agreed to reimburse the city $7,000. The City billed
the $7,000 plus reimbursements for sanitation. Pan-O-Prog argued the sanitation was part
of the $7,000 agreement but ended up paying the reimbursement too.
^^ - Lakeville Liquors agreed to cover any shortfall in fireworks donations up to a maximum
contribution of $3,000 annually.
