HomeMy WebLinkAbout0422 ORDINANCE NO. 422 CITY OF LAKEVILLE DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 7 OF THE LAI~'VILLE CITY CODE CONCERNING PUBLIC WAYS AND PROPERTY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEVILLE ORDAINS: -Sectional.-Title 7-of the Lakeville City Code is amended by amending Section 7-3-3-6 to read: 7-3-3-6: Sidewalks and:Multi-purpose Trailways. All City sidewalks shall .:have a minimum width of five (5) feet. In new plats, unless otherwise directed by the City Council, sidewalks shall be installed on both sides of allminor and major collector. roadways. In new plats, unless otherwise directed. by the City Council, all multi-purpose trailways. identified by the City's Comprehensive Trail Plan shall have a minimum width of eight (8) feet, be constructed of bituminous material, and be installed. on one or both sides of minor and major collector roadways. All new sidewalks and multi-purpose trailways shall be funded consistent with the City's policies and shall be negotiable by handicapped persons in accordance with Minn. State Statute #471.464. Title 7 of the Lakeville City Code is amended by amending Section 7- 3-3-6 to read: 7-3-3-8: Sidewalks and Multi-pur- pose Trailways. All City sidewalks shall have a minimum width of five (5) feet. In new plats, unless otherwise directed by the City Council, side- walks shall be installed on both sides of all minor and major collector roadways. In new plats, unless oth- erwise directed by the City Council, all multi-purpose trailways identified by the City's Comprehensive Trail Plan shall have a minimum width of eight (8) feet, be constructed of bitu- minous material, and be installed on one or both sides of minor and major collector roadways.
