AN ORDINANCE .AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 167, THE
LAREVILLE ZONING ORDINANCE, SECTION 4:2.2, I-1 INDIISTRIAL
DISTRICT BY ADDING-CERTAIN PERMITTED IISE3
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEVLLLE ORDAINS:
Section 1. Lakeville Ordinance No: 167, Section 42:.2 is
amended by :adding the. following:
6) Minor automobile repair; servicing `of motor freight vehicles
and heavy construction equipment; directly related accessory
materials and parts sales for such repair and servicing {not
including new or used vehicle sales); and accessory 'materials
and parts warehousing which is related to and .dependent upon
such uses provided that:
a) A11 servicing of vehicles and equipment shall occur.
:entirely. within the principal structure;
b) To the extent required by•state law and regulations,
painting shall be conducted in an approved paint. booth,
.which thoroughly controls the emission of fumes,`.. dust, or
other partculated matter;'
c) Storage and use o~ all flammable materials,.. ,including
liquids. and rags, shat conform with applicable-
provisions of the Minnesota Uniform Fire Code;
d) Parking, driveway,. and circulation standards and'
requirements shall besubject to the review `and approval
of the City Engineer and shall be based upon thee: specific
needs of the c~eratior. and ahall accommodate lar3e
.vehicle equipment and semi-trailer/tractor trucks;
e) The storage of damagedvehcles and vehicle part and
accessory equipment must be completely inside a principa
or accessory buildng;;:and
-f) The sale of products other than those specifically
mentioned in this subdivision shall'be subject to a
separate. conditional use permit and shall be in
compliance with Section 42.4 of: this Ordinance.
Section 2. Lakeville `..Ordinance No. 167, Section 42.4 is
hereby amended to read:

1) All conditional uses as allowed in the B-W District except:
a)-; Accessory open and outdoor storage.
Section 3. .This ordinance shall become effective immedi-
'ately upon-.its passage and publication.

LAKEVILLE ZONING ORDINANCE,
SECTION 42.2, I-1 INDUSTRIAL
DISTRICT BY ADDING CERTAIN
PERMITTED USES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LAKEVILLE ORDAINS:
Section 1 Lakeville Ordinance No.
167, Section 42.2 is amended by adding
the following:
6) Minor atuomobile repair; servicing of

struction equipment; directly related ac-
cessory materials and parts sales for such
repair and servicing (not including new
or used vehicle sales); and accessory ma-
terials and parts warehousing which is
related to and dependent upon such uses

within the principal structure;
b) To the extent required by

shall be conducted in an approved
paint booth, which throughly
controls the emission of fumes,
dust, or other particulated matter,
c) Storage and use of all
flammable materials, including
liquids and rags, shall conform
with applicable provisions of the
Minnesota Uniform Fire Code;
d) Parking, driveway, and
circulation standards and re-
quirements shall be subject to the
review and approval of the City
Engineer and shall be based upon
the specific needs of the operation
and shall accommodate large ve-
hicle equipment and semi-
trailer/tractor trucks;
e) The storage of damaged
vehicles and vehicle parte and ac-
cessory equipment must be com-
pletely inside a principal or acces-
sory building and
f) The sale of products other
than those specifically mentioned
in this subdivision shall be subject
to a separate conditional use per-
mit and shall be in compliance
with Section 42.4 of this Ordi-
nance.
Section 2 Lakeville Ordinance No.
167, Section 42.4 is hereby amended to
read:
1) All conditional uses as allowed in the B-
W District except:
a) Accessory open and outdoor
storage.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be-
come effective immediately upon its pas-
sage and publication.
