Section 5-2-1-2 (H) of the Lakeville City Code is amended to .'read: By any person hunting with a shotgun using.:fine shot at least five hundred feet (500'.) from a City trail and five- hundred feet (500') from all buildings unless the buildings are owned by, that person or unless that persona-has. the owner's written. permission carried on his/her .person. Seetion`2. Section-5-2-1-3 (b) of the Lakeville City Code is :amended to'read.. Hunting using a firearm with a single projectile or with a BB gun is prohibited. :Section 3. The Lakeville. City Code is amended by adding Section-5-2-3 to read as follows: Sec. 5-2-3. Designated Hunting Areas. Annually before the hunting season the City Council shall cause to`be published a map designating he areas within the City where hunting. is allowed. Hunting in areas not designated on the' map ,for hunting. is prohibited.. Hunting.. outside of designated: areas shall be allowed with the written permission of the Lakeville Police Chief, which permission shall be given under the -following circumstances: (A) With the written permission: of the property owner where the hunting: is to occur; and: (B) The hunting area is isolated; rural in character,' and sparsely populated; and (C) No more than one hunting party shall be allowed in the area-at one time. r02/28/91 Section 3.
