Overview Kevin Brazner of the Avalon Group has requested an extension for recording the final plat of Timbercrest at Lakeville 8th Addition. This final plat was approved by the City Council on August 5, 2019 and an extension to the final plat was granted by the City Council on November 18, 2019. The Avalon Group is working with a buyer and requests that the final plat recording be extended to October 5, 2020. The parcels covered by the plat are under contract for sale, and currently, the buyer has until the end of July (plus the ability to extend) to complete its due diligence. The coronavirus situation has slowed down the buyer's ability to secure its tenants and we want to be accommodating of that fact. The buyer has not shared its desired site plan yet, as it is still working through its options. To the extent that the plat as submitted and approved will meet its requirements, all parties would want to use it. Similarly, should this buyer back away, it is a plat configuration that may work for us as well.
