CITY OF LAKEVILLE
DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 3, CHAPTER 1
OF THE LAKEVILLE CITY CODE
CONCERNING ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEVILLE, MINNESOTA ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. Section 3-1-7-1 of the Lakeville City Code is amended by adding a new
subsection D to read as follows:
D. Annual License Fees for Renewal of On -Sale Licenses in existence on March 17,
2020: Notwithstanding Section 3-1-7-1 (A), the annual renewal fees for on -sale licenses in
existence on March 17, 2020 shall be as follows:
Annual sales of $375,000.00 or less of $5,000.00
alcoholic beverages
Annual sales of more than $375,000.00 of $5,600.00
alcoholic beverages
For a club with between 201 and 500 $400.00

SECTION 2. Section 3-1-7-2 of the Lakeville City Code is amended to add a new
subsection to read as follows:
B. Payment of Annual License Fees for Renewal of On -Sale Licenses in existence on
March 17, 2020: Notwithstanding Section 3-1-7-2(A), annual renewal license fees for On -Sale
liquor licenses in existence on March 17, 2020 shall be paid as follows:
(i) One-half of the annual renewal fee prior to May 30, 2020;
(ii) One-half of the annual renewal fee prior to November 30, 2020.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage and
publication and shall remain in effect until May 31, 2021, when this ordinance shall be revoked
without further action of the city council.
ADOPTED this 4th day of May 2020 by the City Council of the City of Lakeville,
