ACCEPT GRANT OF PERMANENT AND TEMPORARY EASEMENTS WITH TZENIS
AND GRIM FOR 172ND STREET IMPROVEMENTS (CITY PROJECT 20-02)
Proposed Action
Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: Move to accept a Grant of Permanent and
Temporary Easements with Michael Tzenis and Robert Grim for 172nd Street Improvements with
the 2020 Street Reconstruction Project, City Project 20-02.
Overview
The 2020 Street Reconstruction Project includes the reconstruction and widening of 172nd Street
between Kirben Avenue and the Canadian Pacific Rail Crossing. The proposed drainage,
maintenance and safety improvements include expanding the roadway to provider a wider clear
zone and construction of an improved drainage system along the roadway.
Construction of the improvements requires acquisition of temporary and permanent easements on
private properties outside of the existing right-of-way along the project corridor. The attached
agreements outline the terms and compensation for said easements.
