LAKEVILLE FIRE DUTY CREW
•Provides a predictable and reliable response model 7 days per
week (Safety throughout the Community)
•Better service to our community, having a full-time response for
minimal cost while we maintain a paid-on-call staffing model
(Great Value for Public Services)
•Majority of training objectives will be accomplished while on shift
in smaller groups, 4+ hours per month/firefighter (Support high
quality education)
•Decrease department average response times by greater than 2
minutes (includes non-duty crew hours) and decreases engine
response times during duty crew hours by greater than 5 minutes
per call (Safety Throughout the Community)
•+85% of emergency calls are covered by a duty crew. Data from
April 9th show 9% of calls were paged during non-duty crew
hours. (Safety throughout the Community)
