RESOLUTION NO. 20-90
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY PLAT OF INTERSTATE SOUTH
LOGISTICS PARK THIRD ADDITION
WHEREAS, Scannell Properties #441, LLC, has requested approval of the preliminary plat of
one industrial lot to be known as INTERSTATE SOUTH LOGISTICS PARK THIRD
ADDITION, legally described in Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing at their August 20, 2020
meeting, preceded by notice as required by the Subdivision Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and the Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources
Committee unanimously recommended approval of the preliminary plat; and
WHEREAS, the preliminary plat is acceptable to the City;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Lakeville City Council:
INTERSTATE SOUTH LOGISTICS PARK THIRD ADDITION preliminary plat is
approved subject to the following conditions:
1. Implementation of the recommendations listed in the August 20, 2020 engineering
report.
2. The site and buildings shall be developed in compliance with the plans approved by
the City Council and Zoning Ordinance requirements.
3. A security shall be submitted to guarantee installation of the approved landscaping at
the time of final plat approval. All landscaped areas within and adjacent to the parking
lot shall be irrigated.
4. Snow storage shall not take place in required parking spaces.
5. The buildings shall be constructed of materials consistent with the requirements of the
Zoning Ordinance for industrial buildings.
6. If required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), approval of permit No.
7460 (crane permit) shall be obtained from the FAA prior to commencing
construction with the use of a crane or cranes taller than 35 feet in height.
7. Parking deferment applications shall be submitted to the Planning Department prior
to the issuance of building permits.
8. Prior to City Council consideration of the final plat, revised grading, drainage,
erosion control, and utility plans must be submitted, reviewed and approved by the
Engineering Division.

EXHIBIT A
That part of the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4) of Section Thirty -One (31), Township One Hundred
Fourteen (114) North, Range Twenty (20) West of the Fifth Principal Meridian, Dakota County,
Minnesota, lying westerly of Dodd Road, EXCEPT that part platted as INTERSTATE SOUTH
LOGISTICS PARK and INTERSTATE SOUTH LOGISTICS PARK SECOND ADDITION,
Dakota County, Minnesota, according to the recorded plats thereof.
And
The west 50.00 feet of OUTLOT A, INTERSTATE SOUTH LOGISTICS PARK;
That part of OUTLOT B, INTERSTATE SOUTH LOGISTICS PARK, lying southerly of the
following described line:
Beginning at the southeast corner of said OUTLOT B and assuming the most easterly east line of
said OUTLOT B bears NORTH; thence westerly along a tangential curve concave to the north,
having a radius of 625.00 feet and a central angle of 16 degrees 18 minutes 16 seconds and a chord
that bears North 82 degrees 21 minutes 15 seconds west and there line terminating;
Outlot C, Interstate South Logistics Park, except that part platted as Interstate South Logistics
Park Second Addition;
Outlot E, Interstate South Logistics Park.
