WINE AND 3.2% MALT LIQUOR LICENSE
RED’S SAVOY PIZZA
Proposed Action
Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: Move to grant a wine and on-sale 3.2%
malt liquor license to Lake Savoy, LLC
Overview
The City Council will conduct a public hearing on the application of Lake Savoy, LLC for an on-
sale wine and 3.2% malt liquor license at Red’s Savoy Pizza, 17450 Kenwood Trail. The
restaurant will have indoor seating for 26 persons. The applicant indicates that emphasis is not

Consistent with State Statute 340A.404, Lakeville ordinance allows the holder of an on-sale wine
license, whose gross receipts are at least 60% attributable to the sale of food, to sell strong beer at
on-sale without an additional license. No additional fee may be charged.
The Police Department reviewed the application and conducted a background investigation on
the applicant, Brian A. Beers. Mr. Beers will attend the public hearing.
