HomeMy WebLinkAbout0393 n F ° ORDINANCE NO. 393 CITY OF LAKEVILLE DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 3, CHAPTER 5 OF THE LAREVILLE CITY CODE REGIILATING DANCE HALLS AND CABARETS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEVILLE ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 3-5-2 of the Lakeville City Code is amended to read: Permit Required: No person shall., directly or indirectly, give, hold or conduct a public dance or a private dance, as :defined herein or permit dancing in a cabaret unless the host or hostess shall have first obtained a permit therefor from`the Police. Department. The permit shall be issued. unless the dance would be in'violation of state statutes or City ordinances. Section 2. .Section 3-5-2 of the Lakeville City Code is amended to read: License Application: Every applicant for a dance or cabaret license shall complete a verified application form furnished by the Police Department.. Section 3. Section 3-5-4 of the Lakeville City Code is amended to read: A. All permits shall be for one day. B. The license fee shall be $25.00. Section 4. Section 3-5-5 of the Lakeville City Code is amended to .read: Right of Inspection: Any police officer shall have the unqualified right during a dance to enter and inspect the premises for which a permit has been issued without a warrant. section 5. Sections 3-5-6, 3-5-?, 3-5-8 and 3-5-9 of the Lakeville City Code are hereby repealed. Section 6.
