HomeMy WebLinkAbout21-016CITY OF LAKEVILLE RESOLUTION NO. 21-16 Resolution of Support Funding Application Submittal for 2020 Local Road Improvement Program Solicitation 210th Street Reconstruction Project WHEREAS, in 2020, the Minnesota Legislature appropriated bond funds to the Local Road Improvement Program; and WHEREAS, approximately $75M is available for a statewide solicitation to fund projects in the Routes of Regional Significance, Rural Road Safety, or Trunk Highway accounts; and WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation is requesting submittals for Local Road Improvement Program funding for projects scheduled for construction in 2021-2023; and WHEREAS, the City of Lakeville may request up to a maximum amount of $1.25M; and WHEREAS, the 210th Street Reconstruction Project (City Project 22-03) is included in the adopted City of Lakeville five-year (2021-2025) Transportation Capital Improvement Program with construction scheduled for 2022. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Lakeville hereby approves the 210th Street Reconstruction Project (City Project 22-03) for submittal to the Minnesota Department of Transportation for Local Road Improvement Program funding; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that if the 210th Street Reconstruction Project (City Project 22- 03) is awarded Local Road Improvement Program funds, the City Council of the City of Lakeville will consider approving execution of the related grant agreement at a future City Council meeting.
