Refer to and follow the latest edition of BCSI (BuildingComponent Safety Information, by TPI and SBCA) for safety practices prior to performing these functions. Installers shall provide temporarybracing per BCSI. Unless noted otherwise, top chord shall have properly attached structural sheathing and bottom chord shall have a properlyattached rigid ceiling. Locations shown for permanent lateral restraint of webs shall have bracing installed per BCSI sections B3, B7, or B10,as applicable. Apply plates to each face of truss and position as shown above and on the Joint Details, unless noted otherwise. Refer todrawings 160A-Z for standard plate positions. Refer to job's General Notes page for additional information.

All plates are 3X6 except as noted.
Loading
Bottom chord checked for 10.00 psf non-concurrent live load.
Additional Notes
See detail STRBRIBR1014 for bracing and bridgingrecommendations.
Deflection estimate assumes composite action withsingle layer of the appropriate span rated glue-nailedwood sheathing.
Truss must be installed as shown with top chord up.
Problem:This Truss Label: FF is missing the 2 right end vertical webs and theplates at JNT U, and V are damaged. All other plates and joints shallbe fully intact and undisturbed.Solution:Restore any original camber to the truss and support as necessary.
Cut tight to to fit and insert 2x4 SPF Stud vertical webs as shown.
Cut and apply 7/16" APA RATED OSB SHEATHING 24/16, EXP 1gussets to each face of the truss using 0.113" dia. by 2.5" long 8dbox nails at 2.0 inches on center staggered throughout all members.Size of gussets are indicated by height in inches x length in inches.Gussets are centered over the joint unless otherwise noted. Ifshown the circled number indicates the minimum number of nailsrequired on each face of each member. Apply nails per NDSrequirements.
