Jack Matasosky as Vice Chair, and Bob Brantly as Secretary of
the Economic Development Commission. Motion carried

02.03 Comms. Brantly/Emond moved to recommend to the City Council
that they showcase a different business or businesses at each
council meeting beginning in February of 2002. Motion carried

02.04 Comms. Pogatchnik/Emond moved to recommend to the City
Council that a public hearing be scheduled to consider a Business
Subsidy Agreement for the proposed Advanced Wireless
Communications project subject to City being provided with the
additional re uired information. Motion carried unanimousl .
02.05 Comms. Emond/Matasosky moved to direct staff to pursue "E-
commerce certification" with the assistance of Frontier on the
basis that it is consistent with Goal #3 of the City's 2002-2004
Strategic Plan for Economic Development. Motion carried

approve $70,000 in CDBG Downtown Code Improvement program
funds to be used to address building code issues as depicted in
the design presented for the Enggren's Ben Franklin building.

Council approve the letter of engagement with the PR Firm Himle
Horner for the purpose of developing a Communications Plan to
inform and engage residents about the benefits of Commercial
and Industrial Development consistent with the Strategic Plan for
