RESOLUTION NO. 21-108
Resolution Amending the 2021 Fee Schedule
WHEREAS, the City Council uses Payment Service Network (PSN) as our credit card processor;
and
WHEREAS, customers are currently charged 2.75% for amounts greater than or equal to $100;
or 2.75% plus $0.50 for amounts less than $100 on credit card payments for building permits,
special assessments, and miscellaneous billings; and
WHEREAS, PSN provided notice of upcoming fee increases, including an increase in credit card
convenience fees from 2.75% to 3.0% to be effective September 1, 2021.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City Council of Lakeville,
Minnesota that the 2021 Fee Schedule is amended to reflect the change from 2.75% to 3.0%,
effective September 1, 2021 as follows:
1) Credit card fees to be charged on credit card payments for building permits, special
assessments and miscellaneous billings will be 3.0% for amounts greater than or equal to
$100; or 3.0% plus $0.50 for amounts less than $100.
ADOPTED by the Lakeville City Council this 16th day of August 2021.
