HomeMy WebLinkAbout21-148CITY OF LAKEVILLE RESOLUTION NO. 21-148 RESOLUTION APPROVING FEASIBILITY REPORT AND CALLING PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE 2022 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT WHEREAS,on October 18, 2021, the City Council received the feasibility report for City Project 20-22, for the proposed improvements of portions of roads located within the following developments and lands: Crossroads 2nd Addition, Crossroads 1st Addition; Crossroads 5th Addition; Country Pond South 6th Addition; Country Pond South 7th Addition; Country Pond South 5th Addition; Country Pond South 2nd Addition; Country Pond South; Dodd Ridge 4th Addition; Dodd Ridge 3rd Addition; Meadow Brook 4th Addition; Country Pond South 4th Addition; Dodd Ridge 2nd Addition; Jacob Glen Estates; Dodd Ridge; Meadow Brook 1st Addition; Meadow Brook 2nd Addition; Meadow Brook 3rd Addition; Heritage Commons 3rd Addition; Heritage Commons 4th Addition; Heritage Commons 6th Addition; Heritage Commons 8th Addition; Heritage Commons 2nd Addition; Heritage Commons 7th Addition; Heritage Commons; Heritage Library Addition; Heritage Square Addition; Section 29 TWN 114 Range 20; Heritage Walk WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible; whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement; the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended; and a description of the methodology used to calculate individual assessments for affected parcels. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Lakeville, Minnesota: 1. The Feasibility Report for Project 22-02 is hereby approved. 2. The council will consider the improvements included in City Project 22-02 in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $8,782,051.08. 3. A public hearing is hereby called on such proposed improvements for November 15, 2021 at the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 6:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law.
