ADMINISTRATIVE PERMIT No. 21-18
1. Permit. Subject to the terms and conditions set forth herein, the City of Lakeville approves:
An administrative permit to allow separate living quarters that include kitchen facilities
for housing multiple generations as an accessory use within a single-family dwelling at
20320 Gateway Drive.
2. Property. The permit is for the following described property in the City of Lakeville, Dakota
County, Minnesota:
Lot 17, Block 7, CEDAR HILLS 2ND ADDITION
3. Conditions: The permit is issued subject to the following conditions:
a) The design and construction of the principal building is not a two-family dwelling as
defined by the Zoning Ordinance.
b) There shall be an interior connection between the main living area and accessory living
quarters that is able to be unlocked from each side of the connection and that is not
secured by a deadbolt or keyed lockset.
c) The principal building shall be served by single municipal water, sanitary sewer, gas and/or
electric utility service lines each with a single meter for the respective utility where
applicable.
d) The principal building and separate living unit shall have one heating and air conditioning
system.
e) The property shall have one postal address.
f) There shall be a minimum of three garage stalls having direct exterior access (not in a
tandem arrangement) attached to the principal building with a driveway access in front of
each stall so as to allow direct vehicle maneuvering to each of the stalls.
4. Termination of Permit. The City may revoke the permit upon violation of the terms of the
permit.
5. Criminal Penalty. Violation of the terms of this administrative permit is a criminal
misdemeanor.
