1. Call to order, moment of silence and flag pledge
Mayor Hellier called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

7. Action Items
a. Public Hearing for Vacation of Roadway, Drainage and UNlity Easement at Amelia
Meadows
Community Development Director Tina Goodroad presented the staff inemo for
Vacation and Drainage and Utility Easement at Amelia Meadows. Lennar applied for
the vacation of a public roadway, drainage, and utility easement on the parent parcel to
be platted. The easement was granted to the City when a sewer line was extended south
from the interceptor line currently located at the city boundary with Farmington, north
of 200th Street. The sewer line was needed to serve a portion of the Cedar Hills
development, located south of 200th Street. With the recording of the Amelia Meadows
final plat, the easement is no longer required. This action requires a public hearing to
consider the vacation of this easement. The easement being vacated will be replaced
with public right of way on the Amelia Meadows final plat.
Mayor Hellier opened the public hearing at 6:08 p.m.
There were no comments from the public.
Motion was made by Lee, seconded by Bermel, to close the public hearing at 6:09 p.m.
Motion was made by Wolter, seconded by Volk, to approve a resolution vacating a
public roadway, drainage, and utility easement.
