Call to order, moment of silence and flag pledge Mayor Hellier called the meeting to order at 6:00 P.M. 2. Roll Call Members Present: Mayor Hellier, Council Members Bermel, Lee, Volk, Wolter Staff Present: Justin Miller, City Administrator; Dave Kendal, City Attorney; Allyn Kuennen, Assistant City Administrator; Ann Orlofsky, City Clerk; Brad Paulson, Police Chief 3. Citizen Comments Jessica Saxton and Tanawah Downing, Chief Legal Strategist, addressed the City Council on the We Shall be Free Tour. Howard Schneider, Jersey Avenue, invited the City Council to participate in the Tour of Lakeville an 8-mile bike ride, on Saturday, September 20, at 9:00 a.m. 4. AddiNonal agenda information None 5. Presentations/Introductions a. Proclamation for Manufacturing Month Mayor Hellier proclaimed the Month of October Manufacturing Month. 6. The City Council will meet in a closed session to discuss legal strategy related to the Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy vs. City of Lakeville and Olam Holdings 1, LLC Lawsuit,pursuant to Minn. Stat. 13D.05 Subd.3(b). Motion to Close the Meeting Motion was made by Bermel, seconded by Lee, to adjourn to closed session at 6:15 p.m. to discuss legal strategy related to the Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy vs. City of Lakeville and Olam Holdings 1, LLC Lawsuit, pursuant to Minn. Stat. 13D.05 Subd. 3(b). Voice vote was taken on the motion.
