CITY OF LAKEVILLE RESOLUTION NO. 25-157 RESOLUTION APPROVING 2026 PAY PLAN NON-UNION EMPLOYEES WHEREAS,the City Council has adopted pay plans from time to time to provide for the compensation of employees in various paositions; and WHEREAS,the pay plan should be adjusted in consideration of the changes in the cost of living as measured by the U.S. Department of Labor,market conditions and position evaluations. NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakeville, Minnesota: 1. The attached pay plan is hereby adopted for the positions listed and will be effective January ], 2026. 2. The following policy shall be used to administer this pay plan. a. Employee Progression i. Employees hired will start employment at the starting step unless credit is given for prior relevant work experience. ii. Employees will be evaluated by their immediate supervisor on their employment anniversary date. A less than satisfactory performance evaluation may result in the employee being frozen in their current wage step until their performance improves to a satisfactory level as determined by the supervisor. iii. Employees progress through the steps on an annual basis until they reach Step 8. Step 8 is the highest step level of each grade. b. Pay Plan Adjustments Based on Consideration of Market Conditions and Cost of Living Changes i. The pay plan includes a three percent(3%)cost of living adjustment for non- union employees effective January 1,2026. ii. Position compensation adjustments and comparisons will continue to be completed according to the Wage and Salary Schedule(Policy 6.35).
