HomeMy WebLinkAbout26-030 Resolution Approving the Preliminary Plat of Dodd Commons CITY OF LAKEVILLE DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 26-030 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY PLAT OF DODD COMMONS WHEREAS, the City of Lakeville has requested preliminary plat approval of one lot and three outlots to be known as Dodd Commons, legally described in Exhibit A; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing at its March 53, 2026 meeting, preceded by notice as required by the Subdivision Ordinance; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recommended approval of the preliminary plat; and WHEREAS, the preliminary plat meets Subdivision Ordinance requirements and is acceptable to the City; NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Lakeville City Council: The Dodd Commons preliminary plat is hereby approved subject to the following conditions: 1. Implementation of the recommendations listed in the February 23, 2026 engineering report. ADOPTED by the Lakeville City Council this 16t'' day of March 2026. CITY OF LAKEVILLE BY: . � L e M. Excepting therefrom that part of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 9 described as fol lows: Beginning at the Northeast corner of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 9, said point being in the center of Dodd Boulevard as originally constructed; thence Southerly on the east line of said Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter a distance of 1304.36 feet to the north line of the south 12.00 feet of said Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter; thence westerly on the north line of said south 12.00 feet of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter a distance of 554.00 feet; thence Northerly, parallel with the East line of said Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter a distance of 910.63 feet to the original centerline of Dodd Boulevard according to Dakota County Road Right of Way Map No. 67; thence Northeasterly on the original centerline of said Dodd Boulevard according to said Map No. 67, a distance of 674.82 feet to the point of beginning. Excepting that part conveyed in Document Numbers 1624609 and1624610 lying North of Dodd Road. Further excepting the south 12 feet of the east 554.00 feet of the NE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 9, Township 114 North, Range 20 West, Dakota County, Minnesota. The said 554.00 feet being measured in a line parallel with the south line of said NE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 and conveyed in Document Number 1221220.
