RESOLUTION NO.26-088
ACCEPTING DONATION FROM THE LAKEVILLE PUBLIC SAFETY
FOUNDATION
WHEREAS, MN Statute 465.03 requires that cities accept donations for the benefit of their
citizens in accordance with the terms prescribed by the donor; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lakeville's Police Department has received a donation from Lakeville
Public Safety Foundation for (20) Bereavement Baskets and (500) K-9 Pathces in total valued at
$3,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the donation is beneficial to the police department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakeville,
Minnesota, that the donation is hereby officially accepted and acknowledged with gratitude to
the donor; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that City staff is authorized to amend the budget to comply
with grant agreements and restricted donations.
ADOPTED by the Lakeville City Council this 20th day of July 2026.
