Subject: 2050 Comprehensive Plan Update
The City of Lakeville continues to work on its 2050 Comprehensive Plan, a long-range
planning document that outlines the community’s future vision and guides City Council and
staff in decision making that supports long term vitality. Community Development Director
Tina Goodroad will seek feedback on the joint meeting kick-off meeting (held on May 26) and
provide an update.
City officials are seeking public input as a key part of the process, asking residents to share
what they value about Lakeville today and what they hope to see in the years ahead. Many
community members have already shared their thoughts on the 2050 Comprehensive Plan
website.
Action Requested: No action is requested. Questions and feedback from EDC members are
encouraged.
