Business Updates • Lumina Ultrasound Boutique held a ribbon cutting ceremony on May 7 at 20855 Kensington Boulevard, Suite 113. The new business offers 2D, 3D, 4D and Ultra ultrasound images, as well as keepsakes. • Metropolitan Pediatrics held a ribbon cutting ceremony on May 8 to celebrate opening in its new space at 20520 Keokuk Avenue, Suite 200. The clinic offers immunizations, physical exams and special services. • Beltone Hearing Center held a ribbon cutting ceremony on June 4 at 17563 Glasgow Avenue. The business offers solutions for hearing loss. • Sandsted Wellness held a ribbon cutting ceremony on June 9 to celebrate opening at 20855 Kensington Boulevard, Suite B201. The business offers mental health services for individuals, couples and families. • E+M Company Boutique held a ribbon cutting ceremony on June 18 at 20730 Holyoke Avenue, Suite 130. This is a new (Holyoke-facing) location within the Lakeville Mall for the women's clothing and gifts boutique. • Brianno’s Chart House held a ribbon cutting ceremony on July 15 to celebrate their newly expanded and remodeled outdoor patio and bar. Development Updates During the June 1 meeting, the City Council approved a conditional use permit for a Valvoline Instant Oil Change to be located at 7292 179th Street, in the Marketplace at Cedar commercial development. During the June 15 meeting, the City Council approved a conditional use permit for the Marketplace at Cedar development. The project application proposes an 8,450-square-foot multi-tenant commercial building that will include a convenience restaurant with drive-thru service window to be located south of 179th Street West and east of Cedar Avenue. • Lakeville 35 Logistics Center South Addition final plat for a 171,000-square-foot office/warehouse building by Likewise Partners. • Post Consumer Brands for a two-phase parking expansion (127 + 111 spaces) at their Fairfield Business Campus site. • EB First Addition final plat for 24 row-style townhomes and a 142-unit apartment building to be located near 210th Street West and Keokuk Avenue. Under Construction • To construct the 2,372-square-foot quick service restaurant at 20267 Heritage Drive for a future Chipotle location (Heritage Commons). • To construct the 4,750-square-foot multi-tenant commercial building, which is anticipated to house Panera Bread and Leeann Chin (Heritage Commons). • For Pizza Ranch FunZone Arcade to expand into the neighboring tenant space at 16995 Kenyon Avenue. • 7Brew to construct an 800-square-foot drive-thru only coffee shop at 20255 Heritage Drive (Heritage Commons). • Batteries Plus for an interior buildout at 16277 Ipava Avenue. • Rugged Roots for an interior buildout at 21480 Heath Avenue for a cannabis growing facility. • Code Ninjas for a tenant buildout at 7650 160th Street West. Building Permit Report The City has also issued 155 townhome permits with a total valuation of $40,353,417 through June, compared to 104 townhome permits with a total valuation of $26,122,948 during the same period in 2025.
