HomeMy WebLinkAbout26-101 Resolution Ordering the Improvements and Authorizing the Preparation of Plans and Specifications for 215th Street Improvments, City Project 26-09CITY OF LAKEVILLE RESOLUTION NO.26- to l Resolution Ordering the Improvements and Authorizing the Preparation of Plans and Specifications for 215th Street Improvements, City Project 26-09 WHEREAS, on July 6, 2026, the City Council fixed a date for a public hearing for the proposed improvements of 215' Street from Kenrick Avenue (CSAH 5) to Juniper Way (CSAH 70), including a utility crossing of Interstate 35, City Project 26-09; and WHEREAS, the required published notices of hearing (improvement) through a weekly publication were given, the required mailed notice of the hearing (improvement) was given to each property owner in the proposed assessment area at least ten days prior to the hearing (improvement), and the hearing (improvement) was held on August 3, 2026, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of Lakeville, Minnesota: 1. The 2151 Street Improvements are hereby ordered as detailed in the feasibility report for City Project 26-09, dated June 30, 2026 and revised July 27, 2026. 2. The City expects to issue bonds for the project costs. 3. The estimated project cost is $8,268,850 and anticipated funding sources are listed below. City staff is hereby authorized to make the appropriate transfers between funds with respect to the non -debt project funding sources up to 10% above the estimated costs. Funding transfers may include loans between funds to cover engineering and other costs incurred on the project in advance of received bond proceeds. 4. The City Engineer is hereby authorized to prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvements. Anticipated Funding Source Feasibility Report Amount City of Lakeville G.O.
