HomeMy WebLinkAbout99-047 CITY OF LAKEVILLE DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA Date March 1, 1999 Resolution 99-47 Motion By Lurk SecondedBy sinat RESOLUTION AMENDING THE CITY'S 1988 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING A PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR THE HAMMER PROPERTY 1. Shamrock Development, Inc. has filed an application for preliminary plat approval for a subdivision of the Hammer property legally described on the attached Exhibit "A" ("Subject Property"). 2. The property is guided for low and low/medium density residential use in the 1998 comprehensive plan update. This 1998 plan update is currently being reviewed by the Metropolitan Council. 3. The uses proposed in this preliminary plat are consistent with the proposed 1998 plan update but may not be consistent with the City's in place 1988 comprehensive plan. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakevillea 1. The 1988 comprehensive land use plan is amended to guide the Subject Property low and low/medium density residential subject to review by the Metropolitan Council. 2. The Findings of Fact and Recommendation of the Planning Commission dated February 18, 1999 are adopted with paragraph 4.a. being amended to provide that the proposed action is consistent with the 1998 comprehensive plan under review by the Metropolitan .Council and the 1988 comprehensive plan as amended herein. 3. The preliminary plat for the Hammer property is approved subject to the conditions set forth in the Planning Report dated February 12, 1999. 70544 I t ADOPTED this lst day of March , 1999, by the City Council of the City of Lakeville.
