RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION
WHEREAS, The City of Lakeville accepts donations from organizations and
.individuals to enhance the delivery of the Police Drug Abuse Resistance Education
(D.A.R.E.) Program; and
WHEREAS, Snyder Drug has offered to donate six (6) valuable `Beanie Babies"
to the City of Lakeville for use in the D.A.R.E. Program; and
WHEREAS, The Lakeville Police Department would like to accept this generous
donation for use within the D.A.R.E. Program; and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 465.03 requires that all. gifts and donations of
.real or personal property be accepted only with the adoption of a resolution of the
governing body..
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Lakeville accepts this donation from Snyder Drug and Mr. Tim Peterson; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Lakeville and the Police-
Department sincerely thanks this organization for their generous donation.
