RESOL UTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM
MARQUETTE BANK OF LAKEVILLE
WHEREAS, Marquette Bank of Lakeville has offered to donate $300.00 to the City of
Lakeville; and
WHEREAS, the funds would be beneficial to supplement the costs of Lakeville Parks
and Recreation Department's Safety Camp; and
WHEREAS, Marquette Bank of Lakeville has offered to transfer full rights of
ownership of the funds to the City of Lakeville with no conditions or reservations; and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 465.03 requires that all gifts and donations of real or
personal property be accepted only with the adoption of a resolution of the governing body.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakeville
that the donation of $300.00 by Marquette Bank of Lakeville is hereby accepted; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Lakeville sincerely thanks Marquette
Bank of Lakeville for their donation.
