RESOLUTION FOR EASEMENT VACATION
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has conducted a public hearing,
preceded by two (2) weeks published notice, to consider vacating the following
described easements, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is in the public interest to
vacate the easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Lakeville City Council:
• 1. The following easements are hereby vacated:

2. The City Clerk is directed to file a certified copy of this resolution with the
Dakota County Recorder.

Exhibit A
A 15.00 foot permanent easement for public drainage, utility, and highway right-of--way purposes
over, under and across the following described property:
That part of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 29, Township 114,
Range 20, Dakota County, Minnesota, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the north and south quarter line of said Section 29, distant
1409.30 feet south of the north quarter corner of said Section 29; thence run westerly at
an angle of 89°05'42" from said north and south quarter line (measured from south to
west) for a distance of 157.16 feet; thence northerly parallel with said north and south
quarter line a distance of 15.00 feet to the southerly right-of-way line of Trunk Highway
No. 50 as per Document No. 590672; thence easterly on said southerly right-of-way line a
distance of 157.16 feet to said north and south quarter line; thence southerly on said north
and south quarter line a distance of 15.00 feet to the point of beginning; EXCEPTING
THEREFROM the east 30 feet thereof.
AND
A 20.00 foot permanent easement for public drainage and utility purposes over, under and across
the following described property:
All that part of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 29, Township 114,
Range 20, Dakota County, Minnesota, described as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of said Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of
Section 29; thence westerly along the north line of said Southeast Quarter of the
Northwest Quarter a distance of 157.15 feet; thence southerly parallel with the east line of
said Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter a distance of 233.70 feet; thence
westerly parallel with the north line of said Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter a
distance of 90.35 feet; thence southerly parallel with the east line of said Southeast
Quarter of the Northwest Quarter a distance of 163.93 feet to a point on the north line of
the south 921.10 feet of said Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter as measured
along the east line of said Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter; thence easterly
parallel with the south line of said Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter a distance
of 247.50 feet to the east line of said Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter; thence
northerly along said east line a distance of 397.24 feet to the point of beginning.
The west line of said easement is described as follows:
Commencing at the northeast corner of said Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter;
thence westerly along the north line of said quarter quarter a distance of 157.15 feet;
thence southerly parallel with the east line of said quarter quarter a distance of 76.63 feet
to the beginning of the line to be described; thence southerly parallel with the east line of
said quarter quarter a distance of 167.07 feet and said line there terminating.
