RESOLUTION

RESOLUTIONACCEPTING DONATIONFROM KNIGIITS OFCOLUMBUS
WHEREAS, the Knights of Columbus has offered to donate to the City of
Lakeville $150.00; and
WHEREAS, the funds would be beneficial to the Lakeville Parks and
Recreation Department in the operation of the Youth Fishing Contest; and
WHEREAS, the Knights of Columbus has offered to transfer full rights of
ownership of the funds to the City of Lakeville with no conditions or reservations;
and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 465.03 requires that all gifts and
donations of real or personal property be accepted only with the adoption of a
resolution of the governing body.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Lakeville that the donation of $150.00 from the Knights of Columbus is hereby
accepted; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Lakeville sincerely thanks the
Knights of Columbus for their donation.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the Lakeville City Council this 1st day of
April, 1996.
