RESOLUTION NO. 90-166
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE REDEMPTION
OF OUTSTANDING GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS
I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting recording officer
of the public corporation issuing the bonds referred to in the title of this certificate,
certify that the documents attached hereto, as described above, have been carefully
compared with the original records of said corporation in my legal custody, from
which they have been transcribed; that said documents are a correct and complete
transcript of the minutes of a meeting of the governing body of said corporation,
and correct and complete copies of all resolutions and other actions taken and of all
documents approved by the governing body at said meeting, so far as they relate to
said bonds; and that said meeting was duly held by the governing body at the time
and place and was attended throughout by the members indicated above, pursuant
to call and notice of such meeting given as required by law.

Councilmember Harvey introduced the following

resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 90-166
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REDEMPTION
OF OUTSTANDING GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS
BE TT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakeville,
Minnesota (the City), as follows:
Section 1. Pur ose. It is hereby determined to be in the best interests of
the City to call for redemption on February 1, 1991, the 1993 and 1994 maturities
aggregating $1,200,000 outstanding principal amount of General Obligation
Improvement Bonds of 1980, Series C, dated November 1, 1980; and the 1992
through 1995 maturities aggregating $455,000 outstanding principal amount of
General Obligation Improvement Bonds of 1983, dated June 1, 1983.
Section 2. Notices of Redemption. Springsted Incorporated, financial
consultants to the City have caused Notices of Redemption to be prepared, which
are attached hereto. Springsted Incorporated is authorized and directed to cause the
• Notices to be published in the manner prescribed in the resolutions authorizing the
issuance of each of the issues.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Councilmember sindt and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Ruhmann, Zaun, Sindt, Mulvihill, Harvey
and the following voted against the same: None
whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

NOTICE OF REDEMPTION
• $2,725,000 General Obligation Improvement Bonds of 1980, Series C

Notice is hereby given that the Bonds of the above issue which mature
on February 1 in the following years and amounts:

1994 600,000 426-545 512444 QB4
are called for redemption and prepayment on February 1, 1991. The Bonds will be
redeemed at a price of 100% of their principal amount plus accrued interest to the
date of redemption. Holders of such Bonds should present them for payment to the
Norwest Bank Minnesota, National Association, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on or
before said date when they will cease to bear interest. Additional information may
be obtained from Springsted Incorporated, 85 East Seventh Place, Suite 100, St. Paul,
Minnesota (612-223-3000), financial consultants to the City of Lakeville, Minnesota.
