RESOLUTION ADOPTING 1989 SCHEDULE OF FEES
NOW BE IT RESOLVED that the following schedule of fees is hereby
approved and adopted effective February 1, 1989.
I. LICENSES..
A, Rubbish Hauling ...........................$35.00
B. Cigarette .................................$12.00
II. PERMITS.
• A. Building Permits
As recommended by Table 3-A of the 1985 Uniform Building Code.
B. Plan Check Fees
65% of building permit fee for permits with valuations of greater
than $10,000
C. Plumbing
Requirement: Master License Number, $2,000 License Bond and current
Certificate of Liability Insurance to be filed with City.
Residential - Minimum (Repairs and alterations, lawn sprinkler
systems)......$20.00 Includes surcharge
Complete installation ................$40.00 Includes surcharge
Commercial - One percent of contract price plus surcharge (.0005
times contract valuation)

fee, a deposit is to be paid for consulting fees. The amount of
the deposit is to be based on the size, complexity, diversity
and location of the project.

VII. EXCAVATING AND FILLING PERMIT FEES
A. 10,000 cubic yards or less: $50.00
B. 10,001 to 250,000 cubic yards: $775.00 initial fee together with an
annual fee of $375.00 (including first year)
C. 250,001 to 500,000 cubic yards: $850.00 initial fee together with
annual fee of $500 (including first year)
D. 500,001 or more cubic yards: $1,150 initial fee together with an
• annual fee of $750. (including first year)
VIII. ENGINEERING
A. Platting
Sketch Plan Review ......................No Charge
Preliminary Plat $150.00/acre...........$ 500.00 Minimum

In addition to the above fees, a deposit will be required to fund
special studies such as environmental assessment worksheets,
transportation, drainage, noise impacts, indirect service permits,
etc. The amount of deposit is to be based on the site, complexity,
diversity and location of the project.
B. General Engineering
1) Developer Installed Improvements
a) Engineering Plan Review and City Staff Administration
3.0% of project construction cost*
* Assumes normal construction conditions and project scheduling

b) Construction Observation and Final Inspection
Hourly as charged by City's consultant
Services performed by City personnel will be hourly and
billed at 2.5 times actual payroll hourly rate.
2) City Installed Improvements
a) Engineering Plan Review and City Staff Administration
2.0% of project construction cost
b) Preliminary Reports
As charged by consultants or 20% of design fee if per-
. formed by city staff
c) Final Design
As charged by consultants or as per standard ASCE fee
curve if performed by City staff
d) Construction Observation and Final Inspection
Hourly as charged by City's consultant.
Services performed by City personnel will be hourly and
billed at 2.5 times actual payroll hourly rate.
