RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Sherman - Boosalis dba SB Real Estate Services, Inc. on
December 12, 1988 requested tax increment financing for a golf course
planned unit development known as "G1enEagles" and
WHEREAS, following staff review, the City Council held a public
information meeting on April 24, 1989 for the expressed purpose of
presenting an overview of the proposed development to interested
residents and receiving community comment regarding this major
• multi-use development project; and
WHEREAS, the City Administrator recommended the pursuit of a golf
course/residential market and feasibility study to analyze the project
for the city and developer; and
WHEREAS, City staff, City consultants and G1enEagles development
representatives held a project review session on May 18 for the
expressed purpose of interviewing Dan Conway, THK Associates for
technical and professional consulting services to provide an indepth
analysis of the Golf Course and residential PUD; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a work session on June 12, 1989 for
the purpose of receiving a formal proposal dated from THK Associates to
provide a golf course market analysis and a community market analysis
for a fee not to exceed $21,100; and

WHEREAS, the developer and City Council agreed to develop a project
• timeline for consideration at the June 19, 1989 Council meeting.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of
Lakeville as follows:
1. City acknowledges receipt of the timeline as attached to this
Resolution.
2. City agrees to engage the services of THK Associates, Inc. to
undertake a comprehensive analysis of the G1enEagles project as
outlined in their proposal dated June 5, 1989, subject to receipt of
deposit by developer as provided herein.
3. That developer agrees to the deposit and pay 100% of the costs
of said study in the amount of $21,100.
4. That City shall reimburse developer 50% of said cost (10,550)
upon receipt of copies of executed and valid options to purchase the
• property represented in the G1enEagles master plan dated May 16, 1989.
5. That developer further agrees in writing that said study shall
be the property of the City of Lakeville and Sherman - Boosalis.
