HomeMy WebLinkAbout89-041 f y7 M • Couneilmember Enright introduced the following resolution, the reading of which was dispensed with by unanimous consent, and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89-41 RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING BY THE CITY UPON THE REQIIEST OF THE HOIISING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY~IN AND FOR THE CITY OF LAKEVILLE ON THE PROPOSED MODIFICATION NO. 1 OF THE SOUTHFORK I HOIISING DEVELOPMENT PROJECT PLAN, INTEREST RATE REDUCTION PROGRAM AND HOUSING TAX INCREMENT DISTRICT NO. 8, THE PROPOSED ESTABLISHMENT OF HOIISING TAX INCREMENT DISTRICT NO. 12 AND AN INTEREST RATE REDUCTION PROGRAM, AND ADOPT THE MODIFIED AND PROPOSED PLANS AND PROGRAMS RELATING THERETO. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the "Council") of the City of Lakeville, Minnesota (the "City") as follows: Section 1. Public Hearin This Council shall meet on Monday April 17, 1989, at approximately p.m., to hold a public hearing at the Council Chambers located at 8747 208th Street, Lakeville, Minnesota, on the proposed Modification No. 1 of the Southfork I Housing Development Project Plan, .Interest Rate Reduction Program and Housing Tax Increment District No. 8, the proposed establishment of Housing Tax Increment District No. 12 and an Interest Rate Reduction Program, and adopt the modified and proposed plans and programs relating thereto, all pursuant to and in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.001 to 469.047 and Sections 469.174 to 469.179, inclusive, as amended. Section 2. Notice of Hearing; Filing of Plan. The City Clerk- Administrator is authorized and directed to cause notice of the hearing, substantially in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A, to be given as required by law, to place a copy of the proposed plans and programs on file in the Clerk- Administrator's office at City Hall and to make such copy available for inspection by the public prior to the public hearing. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Couneilmember sindt ,and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Enright, Sindt, Harvey, Nelson and the following voted against the same: r 1 i whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Lakeville, Minnesota, on March 20, 1989.
