HomeMy WebLinkAbout85-016 CITY OF LAKEVILLE RESOLUTION Date February 19, 1985 Resolution No. 85-16 Motion by Enright Seconded by Harvey RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE FEE SCHEDULE FOR USE OF THE LAKEVILLE SENIOR CENTER WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted a policy/operational manual for the Lakeville Senior Center building; and WHEREAS, the City Council has established a policy permitting use of the building that requires the user to be responsible for the reasonable costs of security and clean up of the facility. . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following fee schedule and requirements are adopted. 1. File an application for use with the Parks and Recreation Director with a $10.00 filing fee and a $100 deposit for damages and payment of fees. The deposit shall be returned within Z1 days after the event if .there was no damage to the facility and payment has been received for clean up and supervision costs. 2. Fee Schedule By Room Usage: Assembly Room Only - $35.00 per event per day. Assembly Room and Kitchen - $50.00 per event per day Payment of this fee must accompany the filing of the applica- tion. 3. Building Supervision During the Event: $5.00 per hour beginning one half hour before the start of the event until the building can be closed and cleaned. 4. Cleaning Costs: • When the .applicant does not provide full_or_part of the assistance in clean up of-the room(s) after the event, the city shall charge $5.00 per hour for the .hours necessary to complete the clean up of the. room(s). A clean-up check list for each room is attached. 5. Use of the Kitchen. Entitles the Applicant to: 1. Stoves & microwave oven 2. Dishwasher 3. Plates - located in Cabinet A 4. Cubs & saucers - located in Cabinet B ' 5. Bowls - located in Cabinet C 6. Silverware - located in Drawer A 7. Coffee pot & coffee servers 8. McGarvey, City Clerk (Attachment) • 2 • SENIOR CITIZEN CENTER ASSEMBLY ROOM CLEAN-UP CHECK LIST 1. All tables and chairs returned to racks and stored appropriately. 2. Floor must be swept clean and wet mopped if necessary. 3. Trash receptacles must be emptied into trash .bin behind building. 4. Turn off all lights except security lights. 5. Welcome mats must be cleaned or shaken outside. 6. Any damages or special problems must be brought to the attention of the building supervisor immediately. 7. Damage deposits will be returned by mail as soon as authorization has been received from the building supervisor. SENIOR CITIZEN CENTER . KITCHEN CLEAN-UP CHECK LIST 1. All dishes washed, dried .and put. back in their places. 2. Coffee pot & coffee servers cleaned and put away. 3. Trash receptacles emptied into trash bin behind building. 4. All counter tops wiped clean. 5. Sink cleaned and wiped out. 6. Microwave and oven wiped out. 7. Stove tops cleaned. 8. Floors swept. 9. Coffee pot cleaned and stored. •
