RESOLUTION RELATING TO PARKING
RESTRICTIONS ON S.A.P. 188-101-03 FROM 0.45 MILE
NORTH OF 175TH ST. W. TO 0.55 MILE NORTH OF 175TH ST. W.
WHEREAS, the City of Lakeville has planned the improvement of MSAS
101 (Ipava Avenue) from 176th Street West to 165th Street; and
WHEREAS, the City will be expending Municipal State Aid Funds on
the improvement of this street; and
WHEREAS, this improvement does not provide adequate width for
parking on both sides of the street, and approval of the proposed
construction as a Municipal State. Aid Street project must, therefore, be
conditioned upon certain parking restrictions; and
WHEREAS, the extent of these restrictions that would be a necessary
prerequisite to the approval of this construction as a Municipal State
Aid project in the city has been determined.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City shall ban the parking
of motor vehicles on the west side of MSAS 101 (Ipava Avenue) at all
times.
