RESOLUTION OF APPROVAL FOR THE 202/8
SENIOR CITIZEN APARTMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City. Council has documented by survey, and consulta-
tion with Lakeville senior citizens, the need for a subsidized senior
citizen apartment building in downtown Lakeville; and
WHEREAS, the Community Development Corporation of the Archdiocese
of St. Paul and Minneapolis and the Lakeville Non-Profit Housing
Corporation have proposed a 24-unit, three story building to be located
on parcel A at the southeast corner of 207th STreet and Holt Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the Corporation and City .have secured the financing and
subsidy funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development
for the project; and
WHEREAS, the project will benefit the safety and well being of
senior citizens for affordable housing near the shopping and service
area in the central business district.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. The City Council hereby approves the site plan and building plan for
the 202/8 Senior Apartment Building.
2. The City Council will conduct a public hearing on the tax increment
financing plan for the site acquisition on June 18, 1984.
3. The City Council grants a variance on the required off-street
parking for a parking lot of 12 spaces.

4. The City Council approves the issuance of a planned unit develop-
ment/conditional use permit for the project subject to the stipula-
tions set forth in the Planning Report dated May 10, 1984, from
Northwest Associated Consultants, Inc. pertaining to this project.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Lakeville,
Minnesota, this 4th day of June, 1984.
