HomeMy WebLinkAbout84-168 i CITY OF LAKEVILLE RESOLUTION Date December 3, 1984 Resolution No. 84-168 Motion by Enrieht Seconded by Nelson RESOLUTION APFROVING THE APPLICATION_ ' OF THE CITY OF LAKEVILLE FOR A DAKOTA COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FOR COMMERCIAL, SERVICE AND HOUSING REHABILITATION IN FISCAL YEAR 1985 WHEREAS, the City Council has a Central Business District Planning Committee and study underway to update the Central: Business District Area Plan of 1975 for the CBD Area; and WHEREAS, the City has a need and interest in preserving and increasing the viability, tax base, employment. services and quality o buildings and houses in this area; and. This will prevent blight and h'elp' maintain this area of Lakeville as a viable commercial, service and '~i housing area r,•ithin the community. Many of the buildings and ho;~uses in this area date back to the early 1~300's and before.
