RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK
FOR ALL POSITIONS WITH THE CITY OF LAKEVILLE EXCEPT
NON-EXEMPT POSITIONS WITH THE LIQUOR STORES
WHEREAS, the City Council has, from time to time, established by
~I resolution, motions and contracts various policies, conditions and
employment benefits for employees of .the City of_Lakeville; and
WHEREAS, the City Council believes it to be prudent and appropriate
to consolidate into one document the employment conditions, general
policies, work scheduling/time records policies, employment benefits.,
i,
and retirement programs to provide a more .:clear understanding for both
i
i the Employer and Employee.
I', NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
i
1. The attached Employee Handbook, draft date September 14, 1984, is
hereby approved and adopted for all positions of employment .with the
' City of Lakeville except non-exempt positions with the liquor
i
II stores, which have an employee. handbook specifically for them.
I
2. All previous resolutions and motions adopted by the City Council
with provisions similar to the provisions in this Employee Handbook
i as attached to this .resolution. are. hereby repealed.
